All in all and I’m loving every rise and fall
The sun will make and I will take breath to be sure of this

All in all, we must try our best to enjoy and be grateful for every day we live. Life is beautiful because of the ups and downs, the rises and falls. Anthony takes a breath, perhaps the simplest thing a human can do, to remind himself of this life and all that comes with it—beauty and pain alike.
In the end and then all will be forgiven when
Surrender rises high and I gave what I came to give

Anthony is saying that when our lives end, all the mistakes we’ve made are forgiven, as we surrender to the reality everyone must face, death. When we die, we’ve served our purpose on Earth, or “came what [we] came to give” and move on to the next chapter.

Though I think Anthony’s history with addiction may be the inspiration for the theme of death, I don’t think the line is about addiction itself. It is about thinking of death as a release from the burdens of this world, moving on from the mistakes and hard times we have, and looking forward to the idea of serving one’s purpose.
